Are you added --enable-spamc-user compile option?
Simscan simply not send username to spamc. This happens because of bugs or
missing compile option. I use Spamassassin 3.3.0 with pacht #6340 and Simscan
1.4.0 with proposed patch and work fine.

Try and report please.
