I've got an order in for IPv6 and plan to dual stack. I might just call on you
for some assistance!

Overall, the reality in the US is that NAT-firewalls relieved the issue so it's
a problem that doesn't need fixing for most networks here. The early adopters
of ipv4 got Class A's EACH (Apple, GE, Ford, Apple, DEC, DOD, MIT, IBM, etc.
etc).

I run a computer company with hundreds if not thousands of customers. I know
one using IPv6 and they did it as an academic exercise. So I consider myself
an early adopter of technology and IPv6 makes BetaMax look impressive.

I am expecting that our:

Bandwidth monitoring won't work with ipv6
Our DoS monitors won't work with ipv6
Our Switches might not work with ipv6
Our Router will need an upgrade

Overall, I'm expecting this to be a large project. And realistically, I have
all the IPv4 IPs we need. IPv6 is a complete waste of time with almost no
benefit except my interest in supporting the ASF project.

regards,
KAM
