Karsten Bräckelmann <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Summary|Version of moinmoin (wiki |Version of moinmoin (wiki |software) we're using has |software) we're using is |security bugs |not the latest and greatest | |branch --- Comment #3 from Karsten Bräckelmann <[email protected]> 2011-11-22 22:56:33 UTC --- (In reply to comment #0) > http://moinmo.in/MoinMoinDownload says: > > "1.8 > All users interested in bug and security fixes are strongly advised to upgrade > to the latest stable release soon (see above)." While this quote is correct, the Summary is *incorrect* in claiming this version "has security bugs". Besides that very same download page noting that disclaimer, it also offers both 1.9.3 and 1.8.8 even more prominently at the top for download. *Both* of them "Recommended for all users and contains security and bug fixes". Both of them have been released in June 2010, more than a year ago. No warnings about known issues or threats. No "bug and security fixes" for the 1.9 branch either in all that time. Fixicating the overly scaremongering Summary. -- Configure bugmail: https://issues.apache.org/SpamAssassin/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug.
