            Bug ID: 7185
Summary: Spamc/Spamd with SSL Improve documentation and Process
           Product: Spamassassin
           Version: 3.4 SVN branch
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Windows 7
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: spamc/spamd
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

The ability to use Spamc/Spamd with SSL could use improved documentation and
processes.

For example, how to compile with an alternate SSL is a bit hard (see
https://wiki.apache.org/spamassassin/SettingUpSSL)

And perhaps we can do a make self-signed-cert option so people can get an out
of the box cert.

We also need to document how to use a real cert.

Additionally, adding debug statements regarding the SSL connection, protocol,
cipher, etc. would be good.

And do we need to add CipherSuite options or anything to improve the SSL
connection?
