Hi everyone,

There has been a change in the role of Chair for the Apache SpamAssassin
Project Management Committee. Kevin A. McGrail cannot at this time continue
the great work he has been doing as Chair for the past four years. We wish him
the best and stand ready to welcome him back if and when that becomes possible.

The Apache SpamAssassin PMC nominated me to serve as the new project chair.
The Board of Directors for the Apache Software Foundation voted at their June
meeting to accept the nomination and appoint me to the position.

My priorities at the moment are for us to get a 3.4.2 release as soon as
possible, and to make sure that the infrastructure for mass-check and rule
updates has all the capacity and redundancy it needs to ensure that it can
continue to run smoothly.

Anyone who has any other suggestions about what needs doing, please speak up.
Of course as always, patches welcome.

Regards,

 Sidney Markowitz
