[email protected] <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #18 from [email protected] <[email protected]> --- TxRep.pm 1720440 has the following diff relative to FreeBSD distro included 1651114 included, as commented in response to this bug: 1632 # disabled per bug 7191 1633 #return 1 unless (!defined $self->{default_storage}); Relative to 1651114, distributed with freebsd, there are three meaningful code changes: this one, a typo correction ("SQLasedAddrList"), and fixes for #7164. Unfortunately, 1720440 also introduce a massive performance penalty. I tried tracking it down by running NYTProf with 1651114, 1720440, and 1720440 with line 1633 uncommented. my results are (arbitrary test data set, absolute numbers meaningless) 1651114 732 seconds (3.1 sec/message) http://www.blackrosetech.com/insecure/nytprof-txrep-1651114/ 1720440 96,451 seconds (409 sec/message) http://www.blackrosetech.com/insecure/nytprof-txrep-1720440/ 1720440-L1633m 1592 seconds (6.7 sec/message) http://www.blackrosetech.com/insecure/nytprof-txrep-1720440-L1633m/ The following errors were reported during execution (these errors did not happen with the other versions of TxRep.pm), but the bayes database was properly updated bayes: bayes db version 0 is not able to be used, aborting! at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/Mail/SpamAssassin/BayesStore/DBM.pm line 208. locker: safe_unlock: lock on /var/amavis/.spamassassin/bayes.lock was lost due to expiry at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/Mail/SpamAssassin/Locker/UnixNFSSafe.pm line 219.
