Bill Cole <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] | |cconsult.com Resolution|--- |WORKSFORME Status|NEW |RESOLVED --- Comment #3 from Bill Cole <[email protected]> --- I also cannot reproduce this. The error refers to lines 92-93 of the 'scanner1.re' temporary file, which has a raw linefeed embedded in the string literal that begins line 92. That line maps to rules that do not exist in the current distribution ruleset. The string being matched starts with the phrase "from the attachment," a phrase which does not exist anywhere (in any case pattern) in the current distribution ruleset. The debug output indicates that the sa-compile run used both a local.cf file and the 3rd-party sought_rules_yerp_org.cf rules channel, neither of which were included in the attached archive. This missing input data makes it impossible to know the root cause of the bad intermediate file. Between the obsolete SA version, the apparent involvement of unknown input rules, and the fact that the error cannot be reproduced, there's no point in leaving this bug open. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
