Pros: Not dependent on the largesse of one company with an interest in free data being low-quality. Derived from operational routing data (from route-views servers) updated Includes Lat/Lon location (NOT in GeoLite2) Cons: Would need completely new code. Location is strictly AS-based, so it is unlikely to be as accurate as MaxMind data.
