--- Comment #4 from Roy Arisse <r...@perfacilis.com> ---
I've the timeout: `rbl_timeout 30 10`, seems adequate to me.

Then ran the test again, this time under the actual user SA runs as:
`sudo -u spamd /usr/bin/spamc -u 'supp...@domain.tld' -l -R < test.eml`
Again the result was without the BL checks.

Then, I ran spamassassin as the proper user:
`sudo -u spamd spamassassin -t < test.eml`, and this gave me a permission
error:

```
Nov  8 12:16:30.725 [3402] warn: config: path "/var/lib/spamassassin/3.004002"
is inaccessible: Permission denied
config: no rules were found!  Do you need to run 'sa-update'? at
/usr/local/bin/spamassassin line 413.
```

There, 3.00400 was under user `debian-spamd`, where 3.004002 as under `root`.
The issue didn't occur calling spamc, since spamc runs SA 3.4.0 instead of SA
3.4.2.

Long story short: there are two different versions of SA running, which
probably causes the weird behaviour.

I'll try to remove all versions of SA and reinstall the latest release.

Thanks for the responses!
