You completely ignored an important piece of information in what I wrote: The message is not that big. It's only 38KB, well within what SA needs to be able to process. The issue I raised refers to an aspect of the received packet, not the size of the message itself. Now, it's certainly possible SA doesn't know anything at all about the parameters of the packet that delivered the message to be analyzed. In which case I agree with you, the issue needs to be addressed by postfix rejecting the message because the packet is malformed. Then again, SA might be receiving information about packet size, because I don't think the packet size being referred to is that of a TCP packet. It's way too large to be that.
