@srowen yep the repo is there for convenience of CDH users mostly for
historical reasons (for a while CDH was the only way you could get the Hadoop2
code). What I don't understand is why can't maven gracefully handle a repo
being down provided all deps can be found elsewhere... seems strange.
@rxin This change LGTM. Would be nice if @andrewor14 could look since he's
been nose-deep in Jetty for several days. But I think you can merge as-is if
this is time sensitive and he can take a pass later and patch any issues.
