Hi,

To get started, you might want to go through the official Spark
documentation and contributor guide:

   - Apache Spark Documentation <https://spark.apache.org/docs/latest/>
   - Apache Spark Contributor Guide
   <https://spark.apache.org/contributing.html>

Regarding GSOC 2025 <https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/programs/2025-ao>
(Google Summer of Code). you can check to see if Spark is participating (I
don't know). The best place to stay informed would be this developer
mailing list and Spark User Community u...@spark.apache.org. Since you arre
new to the project, it would help to know what areas you are interested in
most? Are you looking to work on Spark core features like SQL, Spark
Structured Streaming, Spark connect, MLlib, or something else? Let us know
more about your background (Java, Scala, Python etc) and someone will
hopefully chip in with more informed knowledge.
