Hi Rajesh,
The call stack suggests that the sqoop that you're running is not compatible
with CDH-4.0.1. Given CDH-4.0.1 contains Hadoop-2.0.0, Sqoop must also be
compiled against Hadoop-2.0.0.

Looking at your commands, I am wondering whether you're executing the installed
sqoop rather than the one in your working directory. Can you please verify that
you still see this problems even if you do the following?

sqoop-1.4.1-cdh4.0.0$ SQOOP_HOME=`pwd` ./bin/sqoop create-hive-table --connect
jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/sqoop --username root --password root --table foo1

This will ensure that you're using the sqoop in your working directory.
