Guido Serra aka Zeph commented on SQOOP-793:
--------------------------------------------
- SQOOP-794 I'm banging my head on log4j and ant, cannot raise the log
level... right now it fails without any debug message (so yes, I think as well
that I might miss something in my setup)
- SQOOP-526 u welcome
- SQOOP-589 uh, ok, I need to RTFM what is Scoop2 then... sorry :)
and about this ticket... I have no connectivity, in general, from the hadoop
cluster towards the mysql nodes, but I can ask for having a backup uploaded
into the HDFS... since Sqoop can trigger mysqldump and interpreting its output,
why not just opening such output from a file and read it? that was the idea
> mysqldump > file > hdfs > sqoop
