What wiki are you using for doing the release? The [Sqoop 2 related
one|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/SQOOP/How+to+Release+Sqoop2]
seems to be suggesting doing changes only to the release branch, unlike the
[Sqoop 1 release
guide|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/SQOOP/How+to+Release] that is
different due to differences on those to branches.
