Jarek Jarcec Cecho commented on SQOOP-1241: ------------------------------------------- Hi [~sam liu], thank you very much for reporting this issue. Sadly the HSQLDB version 1.8 and 2.0 are not binary compatible, thus Sqoop compiled against 1.8 won't work on 2.0. We've tried to upgrade in the past via SQOOP-519, but we've reverted the upgrade in SQOOP-571 as it caused regressions on some supported platforms. > 'SQLException: Parameter not set' exception occurs when run 'sqoop job > --list' command > -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: SQOOP-1241 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SQOOP-1241 > Project: Sqoop > Issue Type: Bug > Components: metastore > Affects Versions: 1.4.3 > Environment: RHEL 5.4, Sqoop-1.4.3, Hadoop-2.0.4-alpha > Reporter: sam liu > Assignee: sam liu > Priority: Blocker > > Sqoop-1.4.3 depends on hsqldb-1.8.0.10.jar and store it in its lib folder. > For upgrading hsqldb to a higher version, I replaced lib/hsqldb-1.8.0.10.jar > with lib/hsqldb-2.0.0.jar. And then, I failed to run command 'sqoop job > --list' and encountered SQLException. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.1#6144)
