Could you describe what is bad with the current approach [~vybs]? The 
information that we have in repository can be stale, so I think that it's more 
then acceptable to go to the remote system and find the latest state and even 
to persist on our side. From a user perspective this is "get status" call, 
because user is not concerned with the fact that we need to get status from 
remote side.
