Hey guys,

Roadmap [1] for 1.99.5 seems to nearing completion with the exception of a
few Jiras (large-ish items). I've seen a lot of activity on features and
updates to Sqoop2 recently. For example, Kerberos Authention is about half
done [2], PostgreSQL repository is about half done [3], and Kite connector
is about half done [4].

How would every one feel about releasing Sqoop 1.99.5 in mid-january? This
should give us enough to wrap existing work as well as the remaining
features?

Also, in order to hit this time frame, someone will need to shepherd Jiras
and make sure things get done. If we choose to release in mid-january, are
there any volunteers for folks that would like to shepherd the release?
