I think that we did the initial schema matching functionality as part of HDFS
connector without properly thinking where we want to get it next. I'm fine with
fixing some of the obvious bugs (for example SQOOP-1988), but I would agree
with [~vybs], that we should put together a design document iterating what and
why we're doing to ensure that we have the same set of goals.
