The issue is indicated as fixed in 1.4.5 but  getting the following error with 
Sqoop 1.4.5.
java.sql.SQLException: SQLite supports only TRANSACTION_SERIALIZABLE and 
TRANSACTION_READ_UNCOMMITTED.
