[~venkatnrangan], I've been told by [~richard_zhou] in review board that the
APIs will become more clear in follow-up Jiras. Is this acceptable? Have all
your concerns about this patch been addressed as well?
I'm +1 and will commit if you're ok with that [~venkatnrangan].
