I'm looking at the docs here:
https://sqoop.apache.org/docs/1.4.5/SqoopUserGuide.html
section 2.8.4 Import Data From Oracle shows a sample command with --direct
being used with Oracle, implying that this is supported. However, section 23.1
Supported Databases states that --direct is NOT supported for Oracle.
