Hi Rupert,

Indeed, this seems to be the reason, might be something with the Windows
curl implementation(?).
When I save the text in the file and execute the command, it seems to work
as expected: I tried also to save it as both windows-1252 and utf-8 and set
the charset in the request.
But when I send it as a string, it returns something spurious independently
on whether i specify the charset or which one i choose.
