What's important from the ASF's point of view is that the contribution is voluntary - IMO this means someone announcing their contribution here or in JIRA in a way that makes it clear that they intend to contribute it to Stanbol. Then, as usual "important" contributions, whatever that means, should be covered by an iCLA. -Bertrand
