Hi

The Entityhub always used custom properties for label and description
(see also [1] for the original documentation of RICK - later renamed
to Entityhub). The entityhub:label is still the default search field
for the Entityhub. The original reason for using own properties was
that configured property mappings do not collide with existing data of
imported Entities. If it is still a good idea to use those fields is
questionable.

If you do not like the special behavior of the Entityhub, than I would
suggest to use a ManagedSite [2] instead.

best
Rupert
