Hi All,

I would like to give you all a status update on my GSOC project on FOAF
Co-reference based Entity Disambiguation.

Up to midterm I have covered 2 milestones and currently in the process of
covering my 3rd milestone which is to give an initial design of the
foaf-disambiguation workflow . Up to now I have covered below tasks.

1. Identified a suitable FOAF Dataset.
2. Created an Reference Site for FOAF data using filtering techniques in
generic-rdf indexing tool.
3. Configured a EntityHub-Linking Engine using the foaf-site and used it in
an enhancement-chain in Stanbol
4. Demoed sample results for entity-linking using the FOAF dataset.

I have discussed my work in detail in previous mail-threads at
dev@stanboland via IRC channel with other developers.
I have summarized my work in a public git page (README.md) as a guide;
uploaded the relevant configuration files and pre-built indexing tool and
result files at github [1] so anybody can use it for testing.

Please feel free to give your comments and suggestions for improvements.

I will share my initial design of FOAF based disambiguation workflow ASAP.
For this task I have read many papers on Entity Disambiguation and relevant
FOAF smushing resources such as [2], [3].

Thanks,
Dileepa
