Hi Johannes,
from the ontology manager point of view, if you have an issue with
managing ontology versioning, you can handle that with setting the OWL
version IRI in the ontologies themselves.
Then you can load them by POSTing them into the main /ontonet resource,
without configuring scopes yet. They will actually be stored in
Clerezza, each with its own named graph.
When you do need specific versions of your ontology, that is when you
create a scope and set it to use those with the versionIRI that you desire.
Accessing the scope resource in an RDF or native OWL format then gives
you access to the whole ontology network with those specific versions,
using owl:imports as the default linking mechanism.
That said, you are right about documentation needing to be more thorough.
I would leave the enhancement chain question to someone more
enhancer-savvy though.

Hello,
at the moment it is a bit confusing for me, how and when to apply
which of stanbol features and how they interweave.
A problem is the distinction between the entityhub and the ontonets.
Basically I want to have some auto-generated and manually editable
vocabularies coming from another server, stanbol gets some text to
enhance and then should check against them.
I did a demo setup with the entityhub and a custom chain which is
working so far.
But I am wondering if it is not better to have one owl file for each
vocabulary and manage them file based (easier to store versions).
Is this generally possible or do I misunderstand the purpose of
ontonet? For me its usage documentation is a bit lacking, I learned to
create sessions and scopes, but I do not understand where and when
they are used.
If it is possible how do I configure my enhancer chain to use my ontology?
Do I configure a Clerrezza Yard? How would I link it to my Ontology so
it gets updated if my file changes? Is a writeback from the Yard to a
file possible (so I can add extra entities)?
Or should I configure a referenced site, from which the entity linking
gets its data?
Kind Regards
Johannes
