Regarding the path forward the main points are
* releasing 0.12.1

* deciding how to deal with the Clerezza API changes
* upgrading will means maintaining 0.12.1 and 1.0.0 becomes much
more difficult because
* delaying the upgrade means to use outdated Clerezza dependencies
* do we want to update before a full 1.0.0 release?
* path to a full 1.0.0 release
