Hi Alan,
I think the YNA is well enough suited for things like release votes or pmc/committership (I'll leave it up to $foo to decide whether they actually want to use STeVe for that - that's a hot potato ;) ).

I could imagine that STeVe could get a cron job that runs every N minutes. if an election is over, is tallies the votes, and based on the result, it runs a series of commands or scripts. This could be an email to a PMC with the result, pushing artifacts somewhere etc, adding data to a db.

If if was feasible and projects would get on board with this, I don't see why we couldn't at least run a trial :)

With regards,
Daniel.

Awesome job Daniel! Really, super awesome!

I was thinking that we could also come up w/ a standard mechanism to announce a
proposed release and for people to vote on them. Benefits would be:
standard/canonical presentation of artifacts and information for release
tooling accesible data
central archive of releases
Thoughts?

Regards,
Alan
