I've been rewriting what I made for the current trunk of STeVe, and now
have working STV ballots in pytest (maybe I should rename it to
pysteve). I have yet to make a fully functional web interface for
editing elections, so I had to use the REST API manually to set up an
stv election, but if you navigate to
http://stv.website/ballot_stv.html?foo/baz/9313c1b2ba82404b006930d9c964c19a
you should be able to see one such STV election.
Another thing I did was add a cryptohash thingermajig to every email
receipt. This hash alone is useless and differs from voter to voter, no
matter if they all voted the same way. It can however be useful to
verify that what people voted is what is written to disk, in case foul
play is suspected.
For now, as I haven't made an invite feature yet, whatever you vote ends
up with a receipt in my inbox, but I'll manage :)
if you'd like to be test subjects, just throw me your email address
off-list and I'll add you to the list of possible invitees for when I
get the invitation feature working (possibly this weekend).
