Sure, it is available in our repository. And then we'd have to hand-hold everybody through trying to use it. ... A formal release would enable us to easily provide potential users with something they could use, hopefully without spending a ton of our time. ... I just don't think STeVe is ready for public consumption. We have a few people that know how to install it and use it, and deal with its foibles. It just doesn't seem ready for random users.
