Hullo folks,
as requested by the CouchDB project, I am in the middle of setting up a VM for STeVe, managed by infra (that is, the machine is managed, the software is for us to fix). this will be running from pySTeVe's trunk for the time being, and any PMC member who wishes to have access to the VM may request such. It'll be tied to LDAP, so for setting up admin/monitors, you will just need to add their ldap IDs to the karma settings.

This will mean we can both:
1) test out pysteve live (CGI for now, but if/when Alan's idea is ready, we can switch to that) 2) provide a space where people from the ASF (without machine access) can create/hold elections.
3) get some valuable feedback on the project :)

oh, and the machine is called steve.vm.apache.org (aka vote-wip.apache.org) and will be running with ES as a backend for now.

With regards,
Daniel.
