At one point, our current proxy form stated it would remain valid for **three years**. Blue-sky thinking: We can do something similar. Revocable, a given duration, and permissions (count for "presence" and/or to "vote"). Likely a configurable maximum duration. For any Election that is created where $other holds a proxy, then we send an email to remind $self that they have been proxied. That allows them to revoke the proxy. Edge/race conditions of $other voting before the revocation. I think it must also be mutual agreement. "JohnDoe has requested you act as their proxy for $permissions. Do you agree?" That is easy for voting proxy (super rare). But our Secretary has **hundreds** of proxies. Should probably consider bulk management of proxies. Note that we have user profiles and settings. (not sure about having two, but there is a placeholder) ... and/or have some kind of proxy dashboard. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
