I'm +1 for merging this, however this feature is targeted for a post-0.10.0
(AKA security release).
I'd like to propose that this be merged to a feature branch (e.g.
"0.11.x-branch") to allow for further testing and development. That should
enable others to more easily build and test with these changes. It would also
relieve @Parth-Brahmbhatt from constantly having to upmerge this pull request.
Granted that would likely shift some of that burden to committers such that
patches to master will also have to be committed/merged to that branch.
I'd be interested to hear others' thoughts.
