HI, I have a topology where there are 10 instances of a spout connected to a bolt. I have set the tick tuple frequency of 1 sec. When i run the topology, i see that before the tick tuple starts, storm calls nexttuple function in all the spouts and the tuples are emitted. So i get a large number of tuples in the first second say 100,000 once the tick tuple starts , the next second i receive around 8000 tuples and averages around after that.. So my question is why storm calls nextuple in the spouts before starting the tick tuple?Is this a bug in storm?Can this be fixed?
