+1 It seems fine to me, and the new tests pass for me. The remaining
comment on refactoring is minor, so I am ok merging it.
Regarding Bobby's comments: 1) HDFS name node load, I agree we can open an
Issue if we see it is really a problem; 2) no recovery from actions, this could
be a problem, but we are marking it as deprecated. If we want to keep support
for actions, we should do follow-on work that provides for some recovery of
those operations too.
