    @arunmahadevan I am OK with adding in support for other feature 
incrementally, but I am a bit concerned that the API will have to change 
fundamentally to be able to support these types of processing, especially at 
scale, but we can cross that bridge when we come to it, and if we need a 
different API we can add it and deprecate the old.
    
    I am +1, but I would like to hear from @harshach before merging this in.
