I have never tested storm on an IPv6 only network, I just took a quick look 
through the code and it looks like there is one place where we might have a 
problem with using IPv6 IP addresses directly in the log viewer and in the UI.  
This is the same kind of issue that I know of with zookeeper, but you should be 
able to work around it by using actual host names and DNS instead of directly 
using IP addresses in the config.  If IPv6 addresses in the config is a use 
case that you need to support please file a JIRA for it and we should be able 
to fix it for you, except in the case of zookeeper, you would have to file a 
JIRA with them for those changes.
