Hi Bobby,

We have cross-checked the ports and they seem to be open on all the machines.
We havn't noticed any client trying to establish a new nimbus connection in the
logs. Could you please help out in setting up this.

Also when we have nimbus service up and running on all nodes, the topology is
not getting created. When only one nimbus is up and running, we are able to
create the topology.

Thanks,

Connection refused indicates that the server on the other end does not have the
given port open (aka it is probably not up). I'm not sure how many times the
client retried to get a different nimbus connection, I'm not super familiar
with the Nimbus HA client code changes. Could you try reducing the nimbus.seeds
to only hosts that actually have a copy on nimbus up and running on them?
Beyond that I would need to dig into the code to really understand what is
happening.

Hi Bobby,

Thanks for the response. I am not aware of either inline or gist. Below is the
error we are facing in ui page

java.lang.RuntimeException: org.apache.thrift7.transport.TTransportException:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused

Sai,

Attachments often get lost when going to the mailing lists. If you could post
it inline, or put it on gist that would be great.

Subject: Storm nimbus Cluster- unable to see UI summary

 Hi,
We have configured storm on 6 nodes. 3 nodes for storm-nimbus with ui and 3
nodes for storm-supervisor. Updated yaml file with nimbus.seeds in all the 6
nodes. We bought down nimbus on the node which we have started ui for testing
purpose and we are unable to see UI summary. Attached is the exception we
faced. Kindly help us.
