I agree, lets potentially look at releasing 1.0.1 potentially next week. I’m going to be largely out of pocket this week, but should be back in earnest next week.
And to clarify release votes are Majority Approval and can’t be vetoed (3 binding +1s and more +1s than -1s). That being said, I don’t like releasing with -1s either (whether binding or not), but in this case I think it was warranted to not to cancel the release. I think for the 1.x branch, we should expect to have a lot of rapid point releases (1.0.x) to address issues as they come up. -Taylor > On Apr 13, 2016, at 12:29 AM, Jungtaek Lim <[email protected]> wrote: > > There's one blocker issue STORM-1696 > <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STORM-1696> from Zhuo Liu, but he > didn't vote the release so vote is not canceled. > > We may like to weigh the priority of STORM-1696, and if we still think it's > a blocker, let's work to make 1.0.1 happens ASAP. > > Thanks, > Jungtaek Lim (HeartSaVioR) > > On 2016년 4월 12일 (화) at 오후 11:45 Bobby Evans <[email protected]> > wrote: > >> Lets get a 1.0.1 out ASAP to address Abhishek's concerns.
