Dear all,

The Project Management Committee (PMC) of Apache Storm is happy to share that
Gianluca has been invited to join us as a committer and we are even happier to
announce that he has accepted.

In German there is a word I like a lot: Handwerk. It translates as "craft," but
it carries more weight than the English word - it implies a trade you learn
over years, with care, under the eyes of others who have done it before you.
Open source, when it is healthy, has the same shape. You don't graduate from
it; you keep getting better, and the project gets better with you.

Gianluca has been doing exactly that kind of patient, careful work on a project
in maintainance mode. His contributions embody the Apache Way, and we are lucky
to have him stay.

So, in my simple but heartfelt "germenglish": thank you, Gianluca. We are
grateful you accepted. As a committer you'll now be able to contribute more
seamlessly, and I'm looking forward to what comes next.

Let's join together in welcoming and thanking Gianluca Graziadei.

Gruß
Richard
