Hello , I would like to be an contributor to storm-contrib project. I have implemented a module *Stateful Bolts* ( https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STORM-45) quoted by Nathan long time back. It can also act as *storm-redis* prototype as per the other module in storm-contrib.
