Hi, Over the last months I fine tuned the scripting to create an RPM (for CentOS/RHEL) from the Storm sources. The current state is that these RPMs are installed and upgraded in my experimental storm/yarn environment using puppet.
Currently it is a separate github project located here: https://github.com/nielsbasjes/storm-rhel-packaging Now the question arises where should these scriptsd be maintained for the long run? 1) As-is in a separate project. 2) As part of the main project source tree ( in storm-dist/binary? ) 3) As part of an overall 'packaging' project ( something like bigtop ) 4) ...? My preferred place is to make it part of the main project itself. So? What do you guys think is the right place? -- Best regards, Niels Basjes
