In my opinion, overflow-buffer should not be over-used. 1) It is not as efficient as disruptor queue 2) Add a new buffer means more messages are buffered somewhere in the system, and it will add to the overall latency. Consider a scenario, each time we push messae to over-flow buffer, then the over-flow buffer can be very long in size, then each message need to wait for a long time for the message to be processed.
