Can you describe how the worker receive thread has been changed in the pull
request? In particular, do we still have the guarantee that messages sent from
task A to task B are received in the same order they are sent (or not received
at all)? For example, if task A sends messages 1, 2, 3, 4, and task B receives
1, 4, 3 that would violate this guarantee.
