Andrew Montalenti commented on STORM-215:
-----------------------------------------
I just put together some basic informal instructions in this fork:
https://github.com/Parsely/storm-0mq#storm-0mq
Ideally, I'd like to make this simpler for people than going through all these
steps, but I need to understand better the relationship between these native
libraries and their platforms. To Jon's point, would it be a bad idea for me to
build a JAR and publish it somewhere, and have a ZeroMQ / jzmq native libs
directory you could copy over to your server for common platforms like ubuntu
12.04? Or is that a bad idea?

> As of 0.9.1 Storm uses the Netty transport by default. We should document the
> process of building, installing, and configuring the 0mq-based transport for
> those who want to use it.
