I am learning storm for a project. My aim is to integrate storm with a lightweight computer such as Beaglebone. The main challenge of this project would be to strip storm of its heavy dependencies and run it on BeagleBone with its 720MHz CPU and 256MB RAM.
I have been playing around with storm for about a month now and I am well acquainted with the internal working of storm thanks to the awesome documentation. I am particularly impressed by the LocalCluster class that simulates a storm cluster. I feel that understanding this class would lead me to figure out the bare minimum components of storm that I needed to run it correctly. Am I on the right path? Also, could someone tell me where I can find articles about the storm Local cluster? Thanks, Palak Shah
