Once Storm topologies die or are moved by Nimbus, the information about
previous assignments is gone as far as the UI is concerned, which makes it
difficult to find log files and debug. The YARN Timeline server offers an API
to keep track the history of a topology, and I've attached a proposal document
outlining a potential architecture for interfacing with the timeline server.
