Storm ships with kafka spout implementation. However there is very little
documentation around how to use these spouts and what is role of different
components. We have noticed a number of users asking similar questions in
storm-user forum. We need to update the README file so users can easily
understand how to use these spouts and what are the different configuration
options for them.
