But the code history is already there in WSO2 svn for old code, which was open source before donation.
More importantly, that history will be less useful, if we do not have them all as committers in Apache (which might be the case, as the limited proposed committer community is a very small subset of the WSO2 committer community) plus, if we are to re-factor the code and re-structure the code. In other words, this code used to live within WSO2 Carbon and when moved out it needs to be re-structured.
